Nail art
I got a magnetic nail polish for Christmas from a friend, so I just had to try it out!
The polish is by 17 (I think it's available at Boots only?) and the colour is a very nice mauvish dark purple. The magnet on the top is of course detachable, and it's easy to use. I've seen polishes of this kind that demands you hold the magnet over the painted nail for up to 30 seconds, but this one only needs 10. So that was easy.
I liked the subtle "tiger's eye" effect that appeared, and I think it looks great together with the pearly white I chose as a contrast. :)

Also, quick question for you - what do you use to stick the rhinestones to your nails? My sis was having terrible issues getting them to stay on recently and I was wondering what she was doing wrong. :)

I just use a drop of the top coat. Then after it's all dry, I put a layer of top coat all over the nail, and then roughly every other day (if I can remember) another layer of top coat. The Christmas design I had before this one, I forgot to put top coat on after the first couple of days, but I didn't start losing rhinestones until the day before New Year's Eve. But after that, they all fell off very quickly. LOL
She could try using nail glue? I have a bottle that I use for repairing breaks etc. I've never used it with rhinestones, but I've heard it works very well. I'm a little worried I won't get them off then. ;)

Oh, I see! That sounds very practical. :) I might see if I can buy some rhinetsones and give it a go myself. (Although my nails are a bit too short right now. ;_;)
I did suggest that to her, but she said no... It might be her only option if the top coat doesn't work! :P
