I think the worst example of the matte trend I've seen is the Nails Inc. concrete-effect polishes. No offence to anyone that likes them, but... Well, I think they look awful! Flat colour, bobbly looking coat, and no way of adding a bit of sparkle with a top coat the way you can with these or the OPI liquid sand polishes. So not my cup of tea. -_-;
Plus, I kind of worry about how hard they would be to take off? Normal glitter is bad enough!
