Well, Shanghai is my other home. I keep a fair amount of clothes and products there (especially nail polish - those those little bottles are heavy), and the only things keeping me from leaving more of my makeup in Shanghai are the weather (less than ideal temperatures for storing cosmetics) and lack of storage space. I meet with lots of different people when I am in China, and go to different types of events, so it suits me to have a lot of variety in outfits and makeup looks.
But the other side is that I also tend to accumulate still more makeup when I go to China (brands like Cle de Peau, Kanebo, Helena Rubenstein, and Anna Sui that are not available in Australia), not to mention Asia-only exclusives, so what gets left behind and the new stuff I bring back to Sydney roughly evens out.
