I had to work today and have no parties to go to, which means no dressing up. Still, I wanted to do a little makeup, at least. That turned into a simple living dead girl look this morning.

Products used for this look:
matte-finish foundation (a shade lighter than your skintone if possible)
matte grey eyeshadow
black eyeliner
mascara
Optional:
blue eyeliner
matte lipstick as close to your skintone as possible
To get this dead look, apply foundation over your face, neck, and any other visible skin to pale it out for that bloodless chic. Make sure to apply it to your lips to cancel out your natural pigmentation.
With a small blush brush or a contour brush, use a matte grey eyeshadow to emphasize the contours of your face and neck. Here, I've applied it to the hollows of my cheeks, the slight dips above my temples, along the sides of my nose, below my bottom lip, along the tendons of my neck, and over my collarbones.
Apply the grey eyeshadow around your eyes, as well, to create a sunken, bruised look.
Apply black eyeliner and mascara.
Congratulations, you look like a fresh victim!
Optional steps:
Apply a matte, your-shade-of-nude lipstick if, like me, you can't stand not having something on your lips.
Using a blue eyeliner, lightly emphasize some of your veins. I've done a few on my decollete.
And of course, if you're going somewhere besides work, you can always add some fake blood or some fake wounds to really convey that "fresh kill" feel.
Happy Halloween!
