New member and self-professed product junkie, come with two recent posts:

Red Lipsticks (LJ and DW) and Essential Eyeshadows (LJ and DW).

Some stuff about me: 25, Chinese-Australian, divides her time between Sydney and Shanghai. I love niche perfumery, red lipstick, vintage clothing, and experimentation with colour. Favourite beauty brands are Guerlain, NARS, Shu Uemura, and Shiseido.

In the more mainstream line, I wear Chanel 19, Robert Piguet Bandit, Aqua di Parma Iris Nobile, and Guerlain Shalimar.

Ooh, Bandit. I've heard great things.

I may need to write up a post to cover my full perfume geekings, but my current favourites are L'Artisan Parfumeur Dzing! (a long-term love) and Comme des Garcons Stephen Jones.

Also Guerlain Apres L'Ondee, Serge Lutens Borneo 1834, and my little vials of the tragically-discontinued Yohji Homme and Feu D'Issey. I've got some Guerlain Vetiver around, but haven't yet found my perfect vetiver. One day.

Have you ever tried SL Vetiver Oriental? I know they say it's not a proper vetiver, but it is one of my absolute all-time favourite perfumes.

I have not -- may have to check it out ...

I'm guessing you've already tried this, but if you like iris, there's SL Iris Silver Mist, which is amazing stuff.

I haven't tried it! It's not one of the SL that's easy to find in Australia. I'll keep it in mind if I'm ever in Paris again.

Yeah, it's hard to find, but you can get little decants from places like The Perfumed Court (US-based, but they ship worldwide).
